Q. Is this license a floating license?
No. The license is not a floating license.
Q. Do I need internet connection to use the plugin or software?
No. Internet connection is only required during license activation and deactivation.
Q. Can I use the license on more than one computer?
If the license is transferrable like for ETABS to spColumn plugin, the key can be deactivated by the user to free up a slot and use that license to another computer. The number of quantities you purchased dictates the number of computers it can be used at the same time.
Q. How long does my license remain valid?
Normal license is valid for one year from date of purchase. If the license is perpetual, then there is no expiration and the product can be used for lifetime.
Q. What to do when my license expires?
You are advised to buy a new license. If you do not renew your license before the expiry of your current license, your license is considered as lapsed and the program will be deactivated. To get a new license, use the order button from the product page.
Note that you may or may not receive notifications from ExcelCrib about the pending expiry of your license. It is your responsibility to renew your license when it is about to expire.
Q. Does it comes with free upgrade and support?
In normal license, you are entitled for support and upgrade subscription as long your license is valid. For perpetual license, we guarantee minimum of 3 years free upgrade and support.
All license have a premium benefits of:
(1) Free major and minor version upgrades
(2) Priority technical support.
